In Him I live, and move and have my being. With that in mind the focus of our meditations this week has been to concentrate on the fact that the only difference between His Spirit and my spirit is one of degree; that a part must be the same in kind and quality as the whole. In other words, God is as close as my next breath, maybe closer.
This week we had record lows of 8 Degrees – the perfect time to thaw a bit more of my heart and trust each moment is exactly as it is supposed to be.
So, in one of my Sits I was concentrating on “In him we live and move and have our being” and I felt like I was having this dialogue with Jesus…seriously – me and God chatting it up like it is written in
- The Shack
– a great book if you haven’t read it. Then in the process of the Chat, FEAR of the future came up in the convo; fear that I would not be ok or provided for when I am really old. I have carried that fear around for a long time. It lives inside the old Blue Print of scarcity mentality – and then all of a sudden, the Chat stopped. It was as if God had left the room. I felt bewildered.
Then I thought, God doesn’t move. In him I live and have my being – my thought moved me. I took a deep breath and invited myself back into the space – and then – in a second – I was back in the Chat.
This was a BIG learning for me: My thought – my negative thought – preceded an experience that I processed, that my mind processed, as an action, even in meditation. And I discovered “I” as part of Universal Mind, the One, have the Power to be in or out.
Whew! I got I have the Power to co-create my experience. Thought precedes action and action creates the condition I experience. I see clearly now I can Trust and Listen to Guidance and take action on it. I have the Power to be connected or disconnected. I have the power to invite myself back into the space of Harmony and Oneness. These principles are unchanging.
Principles from the Seven Laws of the Mind at work:
The Law of Substitution
The Law of Dual Thought
The Law of Forgiveness
The Law of Growth
Had to share this. I invite you to invite yourself IN as well. Peace be the Journey!
