Education & Experience
Diane has over 25 years of experience in human services, training, and coaching. She is a Board Certified Coach, practitioner of energy systems grounded in stress defusion techniques, Pranic Healing through the Institute for Inner Studies, and certification as a Certified Wellness Inventory Coach.
Diane began her career as an Interpreter for the Deaf in the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina. She interpreted in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system, for Central Piedmont Community College, and the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. She has worked intensively with individuals and their families as she served deaf clients with intellectual and physical disabilities at Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont. She later advanced to hold several directorship roles in Staff Development & Training, Vocational Services and Career Development Services.
Formal studies include American Sign Language interpreter training at the University of Tennessee – National Interpreter Training Consortium, post graduate work at the University of California – Center on Deafness / Institute on Mental Health and Rehabilitation, coach training at Champion Education / School of Awakening and Health-World On-line. Diane holds a degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Creative Arts.
Diane is currently a Community Liaison Consultant with Veterans Bridge Home and Relationship Life Coach wth Diane Weekley Coaching. In her free time she enjoys reading fantasy fiction, karate nights, and exploring life with her family and grandchildren.
